Supporting teachers and students in the regulation of learning with digital tools
The regulation of learning by the teacher encompasses all actions and measures implemented to help students integrate new knowledge.
A formative assessment sequence is an archetype of the learning regulation process: presenting a question or a problem to students, collecting their work, evaluating it, and providing feedback and actions to improve learning covers various components of interactive regulation.
The implementation of formative assessment sequences poses orchestration challenges in the classroom. Digital tools have emerged early on as a means to facilitate this implementation.
The Elaastic research program conducted at IRIT since 2013, complemented by the Konsolidation project in partnership with Kosmos since 2020, aims to design and evaluate digital environments supporting the implementation of formative assessments.
The work carried out within this framework aims to support students and teachers in the regulation of learning based on a scientific approach. In this conference, we present the key results from this work as well as the short-term prospects concerning the introduction of generative AI in this scientific approach.Conference Moderators:
